MIC|C emerges as a temporary collective in 2014, in an area that is simultaneously abandoned and re-occupied. This dynamic generates an inevitable tension - a frontier of sorts - where people's roles, identities and positions are constantly challenged and assume new forms. Our main objective thus becomes to occupy this marginal space deliberately, to reveal its tensions and internal contradictions, while at the same time highlighting a potential future community and space that emerges in its midst. Our collective aesthetic and archaeological investigations result in various projects and events in the domain of theatre, the arts and academia.
